[Project#1] Hyundai Motor – Dubai Ubora Tower Office Design & Fit-Out

Overview

This project involved the relocation and redesign of the Hyundai Motor Middle East & Africa Regional Headquarters into a dedicated full-floor office space. It was more than just spatial planning—it was a strategic initiative based on the concept of an Agile Workplace, aiming to maximize organizational growth, operational efficiency, and employee satisfaction.


Approach

  • Translating Brand Identity into Space:While adhering to Hyundai’s global design guidelines, the space was tailored to local culture and business operations to create a workplace that truly reflects the Hyundai brand.


  • Embedding a Flat Work Culture:All desks were arranged in a linear open-plan format to promote communication and a non-hierarchical working environment.


  • Balancing Separation and Connectivity:Private areas such as the CEO office, VIP lounge, and boardroom were organically integrated with collaborative lounges, meeting rooms, and focus rooms.


  • Digital Collaboration Infrastructure:The latest technologies were introduced, including high-quality video conferencing systems and smart meeting room booking systems.


  • Sustainability & Future-Proofing:A timeless design approach was taken, using energy-efficient lighting and sustainable materials to ensure long-term usability and reduced environmental impact.

  • Reception & Welcome Zone:A clean and organized entryway designed with brand colors and sleek lines.

  • Collaboration Area:Furniture layouts designed to promote teamwork, with lighting adjustable to the needs of the moment.

  • Board Room & Meeting Rooms:Spaces differentiated by function, including rooms for presentations, virtual meetings, and small group brainstorming.

  • Director & CEO Room:An independent space that ensures both privacy and symbolic leadership presence.

  • Leisure Area & Canteen:A place for employees to rest and recharge, encouraging informal interaction outside of work tasks.
