K-EXPO UAE 2026 Project Overview – KONEXA’s Role

K-EXPO UAE 2026 is a major comprehensive exhibition that showcases Korean culture, brands, and technology to the Middle Eastern market.

For this project, KONEXA served as the official local partner of the exhibition’s main organizer, taking charge of essential on-site practical operations to ensure smooth and stable execution of the event.

Based on the organizer’s overall planning and operational strategy,KONEXA managed all on-site execution, including operations and construction management,acting as a key coordinator between the organizer and UAE-based contractors.

KONEXA’s Key Responsibilities

1. Construction Management

• Managed the full construction process to ensure that the organizer’s design was accurately implemented on-site in the UAE

• Coordinated timelines, materials, and installation quality with local contractors

• Provided swift solutions and alternatives when on-site issues arose

2. On-Site Operations

• Oversaw exhibition operations and coordinated on-site teams throughout the event

• Managed VIP flow, booth-specific needs, and installation/removal of equipment

• Ensured visitor movement and safety standards were observed and maintained

3. Local Vendor Coordination & Communication

• Acted as the communication hub between the organizer and all local contractors

• Delivered design changes and additional requests accurately to the construction teams

• Provided guidance on applying UAE regulations (DET/DM/DCD) and local requirements

4. Permits & Documentation

• Supported the preparation of required documents for approvals from DET, DM, DCD, and other authorities

• Handled administrative tasks such as access passes, vehicle approvals, and visitor registrations related to logistics and installations

• Prepared and managed all technical documents for electricity, internet, and safety compliance
